Sharing his purpose with others
Maseko gives his time working with ex-offenders teaching the acting skills.
Following what God has intended for you to do is the most fulfilling thing ever, director and artist Sibusiso Maseko says.
Maseko (31) dropped out of university while in his second year of studying a bachelor’s degree in commerce.
Maseko says: “I dropped out because I realised that I was doing something I did not love.
“I had an urge to find what I wanted to be and do.”
He then relocated to Cape Town to study towards a drama and film degree that is where he found his passion.
“I did not know what my purpose was.
“As a spiritual person, I did some soul searching and I found my love.
“I acquired skills not only for myself but for others,” he says.
Maseko has worked on many projects, currently he is working with Ex-offenders Community Project, helping them to portray their experiences through acting.
“Never give up on your purpose, and never forget to follow your heart,” he says.
