On March 1, the Kasie Youth Collaboration will be hosting a five- ten a side soccer tournament at the MSI Indoor Soccer Grounds at the Cecil Payne Stadium in Maraisburg.
It is R1400 per Team to Enter and the main prize will be R15 000.
The main event on the day will be the soccer tournament, they have a line-up of local up and coming artists from our communities who will be lighting up the stage.
Kasie Youth Collaboration (KYC) is to provide community events that will cater to the needs of our Youth.
The purpose of the events is to provide alternative solutions to drug abuse and inform and educate the youth on relevant topics.
The organization encourages the youth to participate in either sports or the arts and recreation.
“We also aim to attract a number of local businesses to set up stalls and hopefully inspire young entrepreneurs.
“It is a community upliftment initiative that we as the will be implementing in and around our communities,” said Brent Williams
There will also be a variety of stalls on the day along with a motivational speaker.
This event will be documented on the day for further sponsorship for the next event that will be taking place in June.
