Youth invited to a chance to travel to Tanzania

Somafco Trust Initiative is calling on the youth of Soweto to participate in a programme that will see the winners go to Tanzania for ten days.

The annual programme that is in its fifth year encourages literacy and broadens the perspective of young people.

Nhlanhla Mathonsi, a 2012 winner said that the educational programme winner is chosen through an essay competition.

“We are looking for people who are the age of 18-35 who are passionate about their country and writing. We will be choosing people who registered to vote,” he said.

Mathonsi said that the competition will be opened in April.

“The winners of the competition will be traveling to Tanzania for eight days and two days in Zanzibar. We urge the youth of Soweto to enter the competition,” he said.
