Criminal hub raided by police

House turned into a criminal hiding spot.

From outside the double storey home looks beautiful, but inside it harbours criminals and more than 20 dogs which they use as their protection from anyone entering the premises after terrorising the community.

Last Thursday Moroka Police Station officers put a stop to illegal activities which were taking place at this house.

In raiding the place, the men in blue discovered plasma TVs, drugs, electrical appliances, music systems, drugs and arrested two suspects.

The station representative captain Andile Moshana it was high time they put an abrupt stop to the illegal activities which were happening at this house.

“We have been receiving so many complaints about this house and we were doing our investigation and gathering more information and all the activities of the criminals occupying it.

“After that we then decided to act and what we discovered in that house was really shocking indeed, no one would have suspected that this house can be a criminal hub.”

Moshana said: “We have contacted the SPCA to collect all the animals which the criminals were using to protect themselves and we will try by all to locate the owner of this property.”

Moshana said: “We also thanks all residents who are playing their part in helping us in the fight against crime in all the areas we are policing.

“Their efforts are noted and will be highly rewarded.”
