The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in Pimville and Klipspruit’s voting volunteer programme went well on the last weekend of registrations.
According to Tshepo Vana the spokesperson of the party in the township, they had volunteers who assisted in the registration process in all 15 voting stations.
“We had a troubleshooting team that attended to queries about the registration process,” he said.
He said they were very happy with the fact that a lot of young people turned up and registered to vote, especially those that would be voting for the first time.
“We aim to go to different areas where we will do some more campaigning,” he said.
