Man happy with progress made on the reconstruction of house.

The reconstruction of the seven room house that burnt down last year on July 26 is nearly complete.

Stadium Management South Africa and Pick n’ Pay together made a contribution of R60 000 with each company giving in R30 000.

This amount was for buying all needed building material.

House owner, Lazarus Maake said he is very happy of the ongoing work of reconstructing his home.

Maake said thanks all the people who sacrificed their time to help him get back on his feet.

“I honestly had no idea how I was going to redo the house; I guess it’s all thanks to God and his people,” said Maake.

Councillor of Ward 48, Jackie Lekgetho said the construction team is making great progress.

Lekgetho said Stadium Management South Africa and Pick N’ Pay have made a big difference in this situation.

She said” I have been negotiating with CTM to sponsor the affected family with tiles, bathroom equipment and others.

“If all works out well we can hand over the house next month,” said Lekgetho.
