Reviving hockey
A hockey programme to revive the sport in Eldorado Park
The Greater Eldorado Park Sports Council (GEPSC) is aiming to revive hockey.
Working with the department of sports, arts and culture, Joburg sports council, South Africa Hockey Associsation, City of Joburg, Gauteng department of education and the hockey community of Eldorado Park, the development programme will focus on capacity building and coaching clinics.
“The development programme is to revive hockey to the highest level where hockey was once prominent in Eldorado Park,” said president of GEPSC Goesain Rasdien.
The programme is open to males and females between the ages of eight and 13.
