Herbit Mdingi Adult Center welcomes new pupils

Herbit Mdingi Adult Center in Orlando East held their open day to welcome their new pupils.

Herbit Mdingi Adult Center in Orlando East held their open day last Thursday to welcome their new pupils and also to welcome back their old pupils.

The pupils were enlightened about the different classes and courses which are available and they also got the opportunity to ask any questions which they might have.

The principal of the school Regina Gxobo explained in detail all the different grades and the requirements needed for the pupils to be able to attend those classes.

She also encouraged the pupils to do their best and focus.

“Some of you might have not done well in your matric results and you are here to improve. Some of you might have left school a long time ago and have come back to complete your matric, some of you might be to learn how to read and write so that you may be able to complete forms or so that you may be able to read your bible. Whatever your reason is for been here we welcome you all,” said. Gxobo.

The pupils were also motivated by some of the outstanding pupils of 2013.

Seventy two year old pupil Gogo Mashaka told the pupils that they can do anything that they put minds to.

Gogo Mashaka will be doing her matric this year. She told the pupils if she can do it anyone can.
