Helen Joseph Hospital host a open day.

This past Wednesday, Helen Joseph Hospital in Auckland Park opened doors to the community in a bid to strengthen the quality of service delivery and to educate them about available health services.

The purpose of the event was to celebrate the hospital’s achievements, expose the community to different services that are offered at the hospital as well as inform them of how the services work towards making health service better.

Addressing the community, Dr Raymond Billa, the hospital’s CEO said “The hospital is aimed at providing the best health care for our communities and the public is urged to bring forward complaints so we can improve the quality of our service as well as to remedy situations where possible. The community should also remember to give credit where it is due and complement our staff members when the perform at their best so as to boost the morale of healthcare workers”

Services that were showcased included amongst others: Speech and Audiology, physiotherapy, podiatry, radiography, renal unit as well as Thembalethu Clinic,
