After three months Eskom has honoured their promise of fixing a wall that collapse while they were on duty.-
In October 2013, a wall collapsed at the corner of Mkhuze Road and Tswime Street while a split metering box was being replaced by the power utility.-
The Mahange family were frustrated by this because it was unsafe and made it easier for people to gain access into the yard.-
Eskom promised to rebuild the wall and the Mahange family kept on hoping that it would be soon.-
It took months before Eskom’s promised but the family said it is thankful that they have finally taken responsibility and are building the wall.-
Mihloti Mahange said” “It might have taken long but we are happy that they have.-
“Now, we will feel safe in at night.”
