Best performing school in Pimville gets a boost towards their technological studies.

Thaba Jabula Secondary School in Pimville last Wednesday were the recipients of 17 laptops valued at R46 000 from company from the Netherlands.

The best-performing school in Pimville got a boost towards their technological studies.

“Dr Joop Lensink from Roba Metal got in touch with Fundisa Sizwe Development Project who identified us as recipients of these laptops,” says Kenneth Mphuma, the principal of the school.

He said they feel highly supported by what the donors have done as this will also give them a head start in becoming computer savvy.

“This is the beginning of great things for the school as a sporting project will also be administered by the same people.

“What Roba Metal has done for us proves to our pupils that they compete with other schools in different areas,” he said.

Matshidiso Mnyanda, a parent and a member of the school governing body, said that she was happy with the laptops.
