Traffic signal stolen

road light solar signal stolen in two days.

The tarred road that pupils have to travel to get to Julius Sebolai Primary School has had numerous incidents.

Recently a child was hit by a car and it broke his leg.

Other incidents date back to 2012 where two pupils were hit by a taxi.

According to Joel Mabaso of public safety in Ward 44, a petition was drawn requesting speed humps and road signs from the Department of Public Safety.

Following its submission, a road light solar signal was installed and was stolen in two days.

“The road light signal was supposed to help prevent cars from speeding.

“We are pleading to the relevant departments to help us resolve this problem.”
