Teacher and daughter attend same school
Mother and daughter bring a different feel to the schooling environment.
Seipati Mohlokoana and Noncebo Mohlokoana are mother and daughter who attend the same school and have had no problem staying close to each other.
Seipati is the mother to Noncebo and she teaches Grade four at Ebuhleni Junior Primary School while Noncebo is a Grade Four pupil.
Both from Sebokeng, Seipati has been in Soweto since 2006 while Noncebo only came to Soweto as she started her school at Ebuhleni.
“I like the foundation phase learning of Ebuhleni Primary because they give children a solid foundation so that when they enter the next phase of learning they are fully equipped.
“So I brought my daughter here,” Seipati said.
Seipati says teaching is a challenging job but when team work is properly implemented and parents support their children then the task of teaching becomes easier.
Her goal for the year is to make sure that Noncebo gets the best education and support to make sure that her daughter excels in the years to come.
