Parental inclusion is crucial

The new grade eight class of Emshukantambo Senior Secondary School get a good welcome.

Pule Hlahane, a teacher at Emshukantambo Senior Secondary School says parental inclusion is crucial in the success of the new grade eight class.

The class of 2017 looked nervous as their started their first day in high school last Wednesday.

Hlahane said it is very important that the new scholars are dedicated and use the facilities that are presented to them in order to succeed.

“We aim to bring different professionals to the school through the Youth Managers Projects where our pupils from Grade Eight will be taught qualities of how they can be great leaders,” he said.

He said the school also offers Saturday classes as it is never too late for pupils to learn for their exams.

“This year we aim to also include different television programmes that will encourage not only the new Grade Eight but the whole school to participate in extra-mural activities,” Hlahane said.

He thanked the Grade Eight for choosing to further their schooling careers at Emshukantambo Senior Secondary School and said he hoped they had a fruitful stay.
