Let’s work together and develop our area – councillor

Councillor Nemaungani has an open door policy.

Chiawelo Ward 12 Councillor Joe Nemaungani urges his residents to start utilising his office for any ideas, guidance, tips and projects aimed at developing their area.

Nemaungani said no idea or a project is useless and people must stop limiting themselves when they have the interest to help make Chiawelo a great place for all.

“My office is now opened 24/ 7 and I want all the people in my areas to have and use the 24/7 operational hours to come up with any projects to develop Chiawelo that they may need assistance with.

“I’m not and cannot promise to fund anything but through working together we can make sure that Chiawelo becomes one of the best developed areas in Soweto,” he said.

Nemaungani said there are a lot of ideas that his people can focus on and ask his assistance in.

“People can give ideas about cleaning, health and education campaigns as long as at the end of the day our area will be well developed, I will be available to assist them 24/7 with no doubt,” he said.

The councillor’s office can be contacted on 011 984 6404.

  1. I am from Chiawelo flats and would like to know from Mr Nemanguani, when is he going to attend to Chiawelo flats residents as we live in a place where our grass is not being maintaine and the place is so dark one is afraid to walk outside in the morning to go to work and the place does not have a playgound or park for kids and they end up resorting to drugs as na alternative besides Chiawelo does not have a a proper community centre like naledi for example i mean a proper sporting complex mr Nemaguani it seems since a wall has been built around our flats we have been excluded from ward 12,so please make time to attend us and hear our views and concerned
