From January 3 to January 8 the different components from Sophiatown Police Station namely detectives, community service centre and other units had the following successes: Assault- grievous bodily harm GBH – 10, domestic violence- 2 ,assault Common -1, possession of drugs – 18, shoplifting – 5, possession of suspected stolen goods – 1, possession of stolen motor vehicle – 1, possession of an unlicensed firearm – 1, malicious damage to property – 1, theft -8, attempted
theft – 1, house breaking and theft- 2, drinking in public – 1,dealing with drugs – 1, armed robbery – 1, drunkness – 4, robbery – 1, attempted theft from motor
vehicle – 1, fraud – 2, driving under the influence – 1, reckless and negligent driving – 1.
