Matric 2013 obtained SA best results

The born frees have done the country proud with the matric results obtained in 2013.

562 112 full time pupils sat and wrote the National Senior Certificate in 2013

The Minster of Education Angie Motshekga was very pleased with the matrics of 2013 with their results at the announcement she made January 6.

Here are the results of the high schools in the area:

Bosmont Muslim School had 25 pupils wrote, the school increased from 68.8% in 2012 to 96% in 2013

Chris J Botha had 101 pupils wrote, results improved from 63.7% in 2012 to 75.2% in 2013.

R.W Fick had 73 pupils wrote, increased from 49.3% in 2012 to 79.5% in 2013.

Riverlea High School had 97 pupils wrote, the results decreased from 82.4% in 2012 to 70.1% in 2013.

Westbury High School had 148 pupils wrote, the results increased from 83.5% in 2012 to 85.1% in 2013.

St Barnaba College had 78 pupils wrote, the results increased from 97.4% in 2012 to 99% in 2013.

Al-Azhar Institude had 15 pupils wrote, the results decreased from 100% in 2012 to 80% in 2013.

“The 2013 matriculants are the second cohort of learners born in the democratic South Africa, and this is particularly important in light of the 20 years of Democracy which we will be celebrating in 2014, while also remembering the passing of President Nelson Mandela,” said Motshekga.
