School, here I come

Scholers dress to the nines as they get ready for formal schooling.

ASHA Pre- School Thari Ya Bana in Zone Five last Saturday gave their Grade R class a fabulous send off at a graduation ceremony dedicated to the class of 2013.

Dressed to the nines, the graduation class looked ready to take on the world.

Principal, Nhlanhla Mguni said this yearly event always brings tears to her eyes as this is the day where she sees all her hard work materialise.

“Some of these pupils came to our school as infants and now they are graduating and going to ‘big school’.

“When I saw them wearing their graduation gowns, I thanked God that He kept me to see this day,” Mguni said.

She said they became like a family as they spent many years together and she wishes them success in their upcoming school careers.

She thanked parents who dedicated their time to make the event a success.

“If it wasn’t for the parents who tirelessly helped, we would be here.

“Our parents play a big part in each event that we host which shows their dedication towards their children’s wellbeing,” she said.

Different groups proved that they will not be outshined by the graduation class when they performed traditional dances that they had been practising throughout the year.
