EFF Pimville members visit hospitalised residents.

As part of bringing back the spirit of Ubuntu, the Pimville Klipspriut Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) last Sunday visited residents at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.

“When a person is hospitalised it is sometimes hard for them to deal with the situation that they are in, therefore we saw it fit to visit them.

“We wanted to provide comfort and make it easier for them to deal the surroundings that they find themselves in, says EFF branch spokesperson, Tshepo Vana.

Vana says they plan to visit more institutions where people need to be shown love.

He said they also have different schools, clinics, old age homes and prisons to visit.

“We are a caring people and the spirit of Ubuntu that we were taught by our forefathers needs to be brought back.

“The concept that a child is brought up by a village needs to be lived instead of just being an idea,” he said.

He urged residents not to forget those that are in hospitals because that is when they need the support the most.

Vana pleads with residents to be safe especially now that the festive season is around the corner.

“There are a lot of fatalities reported during this time and it is up to each and every individual to take care of themselves so that everyone enjoys their holiday,” he said.
