No crime is bigger than us to fight – police

Police confiscate drugs worth thousand of rands.

Last week Moroka Police stations officers rolled up their sleeves and embarked on a drug fighting campaign and made a great success of it.

The team of officers involved in the campaign managed to confiscate drugs and dagga worth more R200 000 in different areas.

Warrant officer Ndwandwe said this is one of their successful campaigns and it shall continue till they are sure that their areas are drugs free.

“Credits must go to my colleagues, every officer who was involved in this campaign was so dedicated, hardworking and focused on a mission of ridding bad elements affecting our people.

“So since it has given us great results, we will then continue with it until we see changes and know for a fact that there are no illegal drugs factories in all the areas that we are policing in.”

Another officer who was part of the crime fighting team, PI Biggie said: “After this successful campaign I’m more motivated and encouraged to dedicating my life and time in making sure that all criminals are offered no room to settle in our areas.

“My colleagues have shown dedication and we are all focused on only common thing, fight crime and harass criminals.”

Some of the drugs confiscated by the officers includes: cocaine, nyaope and rock and were confiscated in areas such as Mapetla, Nance field, Jabavu, Mofolo and Phiri.
