It was a day of excitement as parents and teachers gathered at Bosele Day Care to celebrate their children who will be moving on to a next phase, primary school.

They were sent off in style at last Saturday’s graduation in Zone Three.

They were dressed to the nines, girls in white dresses while boys looked dazzling white shirts and black trousers.

To make day special, the 28 children were taken on a limousine which was a highlight of the day.

Director at the centre, Joyce Mthembu who has been the early childhood development field for 17 years said: “It is an emotional day for us as teachers who have been teaching these little angles.

“We are now sending them off to a new level in their lives.”

A parent, Lebohang Motseki while in tears, thanked the day care for their service and the love they show to children.

“I brought my son here three years ago and I am so grateful to this day care for being best at what they do.”

To show her appreciation to the work done at the creche she is one of the parents that became involved in the preparation of the event.

“Parents need to be present in their children’s lives and support them always in everything they do.

“If you can’t be a parent do not make a baby.

“It hurts me to see how other children suffer because their parents do not care about their well being and their needs,” she said.

Rhoda Ramatshelela said another parent to twins said she looks forward to seeing her boys further their education and become successful.

She said: “The creche has laid a solid foundation for them, as a parent I just need to support my children all the way through their lives”.
