Celebrating ‘Auntie Pinkie’
The Birthday of one of the DA's key activist Rachel May who is known to most as ‘Auntie Pinkie’ was celebrated in October
On October 22 the Democratic Alliance (DA) Gauteng Provincial Legislature celebrated the birthday of one of their key activist Rachel May who is known to most as ‘Auntie Pinkie’ who has been a member of the party since 1982.
Auntie Pinkie is from Westbury andhas been a political activist since 1982.
“Her role in the community is immeasurable,” said Patricia Mokgolwa DA Gauteng spokesperson on women.
They celebrated her and held a party.
“Auntie Pinkie is the stalwart of our community and has been a pioneer in our party.
“We salute her and wish her many years to come,” said Mokgolwa.
