A little girl’s diary has revealed how a 59-year-old uncle has allegedly been sexually abusing her and her sister.
Constable Sibusiso Chauke said the sexual abuse started happening a while ago in the Zone Three yard.
Last Tuesday, a man was arrested after the child’s aunt read what was in the diary.
Chauke commended the aunt for reporting the matter and not turning a blind eye.
“Often people keep quiet about such incidents.
“We urge others in similar situations to speak out and ensure rape victims get the help they need.”
The man appeared in court last Thursday, he was remanded in custody and a court date will soon be set.
