Dreaming with eyes wide open

The young gymnast believes that anything is achievable if you set your mind to it.

With just three years to go until the Olympic Games which will be hosted in Tokyo in 2020, athletes from participating countries are hard at work in preparation for the games.

Justin Erasmus (13) is a world-class gymnast who hopes to bring home the gold.

Erasmus said, “I love this sport, although I also like swimming and soccer, I would like to see myself qualify for the 2020 Olympics.”

Now that is truly inspirational for a 13-year-old boy to have such a goal.

Most 13-year-olds are interested in what they will be getting for Christmas or when they will be flaunting their new iPad or gadget, but not Justin.

He also lives by the mantra, ‘Never give up on your dreams,’ which is exactly what keeps him from giving up.

A long way down for Justin Erasmus.
