Jabulani Entrepreneur Oneile Mokoena sheds some light on Business, at the Quarterly Business Warm–up

Positive start to the year as opportunities mingle with chance at the Soweto Theatre.

Scholars, entrepreneurs, owners and employees alike converged at the Soweto Theatre for the first Quarterly Business Warm – up.

Connecting people and ideas was the main theme of the seminar with prestigious and motivational speakers from Harambe, Department of Economic development, mainstream business, the public sector to practitioners in small businesses.

One of the many companies that showcased to the crowd was Zinto Marketing and Brand Empowerment company which spoke about the importance of marketing, noting that branding is the window to a product.

Outside of the main theatre were small businesses showcasing their products with food, clothing and accessories, arts and craft business stalls showcasing at the theatre’s auditorium.

“The one thing I took out of this seminar was its ability to connect people from different sectors and to bring resources and information closer to the people”, said  Oneile Mokoena who was attending the seminar.

“It hasn’t been that long since we first started selling food but business is ok thus far.

“We are based in Naledi so being in Jabulani is a great opportunity for us because we get the opportunity to market ourselves to people from our immediate surrounding locations and beyond,” said Makhobe Sithole, part owner of KaSea Foods.
