The 5th annual Soweto Camp Festival will be held from March 28 to 31 at Lebo’s Backpackers Park in Killarney Orlando West.
This event promotes camping in Soweto and gives residents the opportunity to camp in Soweto’s back yard.
The event will have four dance floors – a hip hop dance floor, dance hall, house floor and kwaito floor.
“Everyone is welcome, let us come together and have a good time camping while listening to good music, comedy and nonstop backyard fun,” said organiser Thato Mothopeng.
He said most people who live in Soweto have never had a proper tour of Soweto so this will be the perfect opportunity for them to tour Soweto.
This event will also be a platform for local acts as they will be more than 100 local acts.
“It will be four days of great company, great music and an experience that you will never forget,” he said.
