Murder suspects behind bars after handing themselves over to police

The two suspects handed themselves over to the police on Saturday, April 2.

Gibb shared that in the one case, a 20-year-old male victim was allegedly assaulted and hit with a brick after an altercation with the 29-year-old suspect, along Harvard Street, in Extension 1, Eldorado Park on April 1.

The victim was taken to the fire station where he was declared deceased upon the arrival.

In the other murder incident which also took place on April 1, the 21-year-old suspect allegedly stabbed the victim along Mopanie Street, Extension 3 in Eldorado Park.

“After receiving medical treatment at the fire station, he was taken to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital for admission but the victim sadly passed away,” added Gibb.

The Station Commander, Brigadier Maluleke said, “Yhe spirit and presence of God can definitely be felt within the Greater Eldorado Park. The mere fact that murder suspects are willingly handing themselves over unto the law, is a clear indication of miraculous and divine intervention.”
