Growing up was a roller coaster for many of us, many would play using bricks as toys, while some never had an opportunity to visit theme parks. The park has approximately 10 rides which are always ready and functional, catering for all age groups. They operate from Monday to Sunday. During our visit to the park we realised that there are lots of ways one can have fun.

This could be through riding or just socialising and getting to know people, or rather watch those who come to the park to entertain people by dancing.

Wesley Blanche of the theme park said, “We are not all about entertainment and amusement, we also take part in uplifting the youth from various communities we impact. We hire from within the communities and we also give back to the communities.”

The aim of the Theme Park is to work with the people from various communities in Soweto, combating crime, unemployment and poverty.

Boysen Khumalo, one of the youths that has been working with the theme park ensures that everything is as convenient, safe and reliable for every person who visits the theme park.

Khumalo said, “We are here for both the children and their parents. Our exciting rides are like a trip away from damp thoughts.”
