Today Lux was to appear for the first time at Roodepoort Magistrate court but the case has been postponed to Monday. Members of Dudula movement came out in numbers to give one of their leaders support.

“They had assured us that the court proceeding would be today hence we came. We have discussed with my legal team to bring the issue of an urgent bail to the judge,” said Lux’s attorney Iaac Khumalo.

He continued to say that they have been in contact with Lux and he is okay and “stronger than ever.”

He also mentioned that he heard through the grapevine that they might add the charge of intimidation and they have enough proof to prove that Lux is innocent and is not the man that he has been painted out to be.

“We expected this to happen because the negotiations between the prosecuting team and the police made us suspicious that something was going to happen. They are trying to disrupt the event that we having in Durban on the weekend,” said Zandile Dabula, secretary general of Operation Dudula.

She continued to say Lux will be happy to see that they didn’t stop with the good work they are doing.

“We are doing a great job, South Africans love operation Dudula. We have likes and unlikes which shows that we are doing a great job because the movement is growing,” concluded Dabula.

Members of operation Dudula moved to John Foster police station to further chant and show support and loyalty to their leader, Lux
