“The tournament was one of a kind since it is Youth Month. We wanted to celebrate South African youth in style and support women in sports. It could have been bigger than this if it wasn’t for the global pandemic. Due to the COVID-19 protocols and the third wave, we had to limit our tournament, to protect ourselves and those around us from the pandemic. But overall, the tournament was a huge success,” Tale said.

“Summer School Games Foundation believes in community and sports development and that is why Diversity Life sponsored our tournament. They believed in us and our ability to grow and develop young people in sports. We are grateful and hope to make this tournament an annual event,” Tale concluded.
