“Remember to be cautious at all times when traveling,” says Duma Ngcobo, Chief Operating Officer at Tracker South Africa.
“Focus on your driving and the situation around you, as prevention is better than cure.

“Even if you’re not driving, but rather hailing a ride, some of these tips can still be put into use.
“However, make sure that the taxi you are taking is the correct one.
“Check the registration of the car and the identification of the driver. Most importantly, always do a quick check of the whole car before getting in.”
