Residents cast their votes for their new Ward Councillors in Eldorado Park

Residents from Eldorado Park and surrounding communities had their by-elections on May, 19 . The elections took place at schools in the community.

Residents have been coming in their numbers since the morning to cast their vote for their next ward councilor.

Ward 17 and Ward 18 have been run by the Democratic Alliance since the last election.

These photos were taken at the voting station outside of Kliptown Secondary School in Eldorado Park this morning.

Members of the African National Congress (ANC), Democratic Alliance (DA), Patriotic Alliance (PA), Shosholoza Progressive Party, and Al Jama-ah were present outside of the schools in Eldorado Park.
