Anonymous call threatens to burn down protea Magistrate Court

The Protea Magistrate’s Court had to be evacuated due to a bomb scare on Thursday morning.

Court management confirmed that an anonymous call was made to the Protea Glen Police Station by a person who threatened to burn down the court.

Court employees and members of the public had to assemble outside the court premises as they wait to hear what will happen to the cases that were supposed to take place.
The bomb squad was also called to check the place for any explosives.
