A dynamic trio, Reflective Souls promises to be a breath of fresh air to the house music scene.

The three musicians, Thabiso ‘Basi’ Mphahlane, Thabang ‘Bomba’ Maremela and Tefo ‘DJ TF’ Mokoena have individual and interesting music backgrounds that made their collaboration interesting.

Basi plays the trumpet and saxophone while Bomba adds his sultry vocals to a beat DJ TF has cooked up.

Basi said: “When we met in studio, we gelled beautifully.

“On that day we recorded a song and that was the birth of us.”

Basi has been playing the trumpet and saxophone since he was 12 years old.

He has traveled and played overseas that nurtured his love music.

For most of his life, Bomba sang in church and clap and tap choirs that molded his talent and encouraged him to reach for the stars.

While DJ TF is has always had a love for producing music.

Their unique understanding in music has made it easier for them to share ideas and create good music.

Reflective Souls admits that breaking into the industry is not easy but they also it is not impossible.

“It difficult to break-in but it is doable.

“We are not going to give up.

“We will continue produce good music and work hard to get ourselves out there,” Basi said.
