Hospital Heroes showing love and support to healthcare workers

The movement intends to lift the spirits of doctors, nurses, and support staff as they work hard through the long and lonely hours of caring for those that have been affected by the global pandemic.

Seeing the need to recognize the herculean efforts made by the frontline healthcare and medical staff at hospitals around the country in the face of Covid-19, three individuals founded a movement called hospital heroes.

Aimed to raise funds for refreshments to distribute to the medical staff at hospitals all around the country while we combat COVID-19.

The movement intends to lift the spirits of doctors, nurses, and support staff as they work hard through the long and lonely hours of caring for those that have been affected by the global pandemic.

To realise their efforts, the trio has partnered with The Gift of the Givers to handle donations and logistics in purchasing the refreshing goodies and distribution.

The three individuals are behind the thoughtful movement are Khilona Radia, Nisaar Pangarker, and Zameer Brey.

Radia is an entrepreneur, and considered a healthcare trailblazer, she said, “This is a campaign to share some love and care to our hospital heroes.”

Siphiwe Mngadi, of The Clinix Health Group, said, “Healthcare workers go through a lot, hence we must always show them support and love.”
