Letsibogo comes first

Class of 2013 achieves 99% pass rate.

Of the nine high schools in Meadowlands, Letsibogo High School pupils proved their excellence.

The class of 2013 has achieved 99% pass rate.

The Zone Three school is known for not falling short of excellence, over the years they have made achieving a impressive pass rates effortless.

In recent years, they have been achieving between 80 % and 90%.

The ultimate goal for this girls’ school has always been achieving 100% with quality passes.

To the matriculants of 2014, those that have walked the path say the formula for success is nothing short of hard work.

Nqobile Ngema, of Letsibogo Girls High, who secured five distinctions, says: “It is not as difficult as it is made to look.

“All that is required is dedication and hard work.”

Words of wisdom from Snethemba Phakathi with six distinctions, also from High, are that: “Nothing is impossible, if you want something go for it.”

Lerato Radebe says to make it, one has to associate with people who will build them and get them to maximize their potential.

The second school is Matseliso High School, which has improved to a 90% pass rate, followed by Kwa-Mahlobo who have dropped from the 90% mark of previous years.

Lamula Jubilee Secondary School secured an 87% pass and Thutolore High School an 80%. Both of the schools have improved.

Meadowlands High School achieved 72% and Mokgome High School 68%.

Kelokitso High School and Veritas High School both achieved a 66% pass rate.
