Savings clubs warned to be careful

With the festive season around the corner, the Diepkloof Police are asking the community to be careful.
The spokesperson for the Diepkloof Police Phephi Matlou-Mteto said that people need to be careful who they talk to about money.
“Savings clubs need to be very careful when they go to the banks and when they share money. We urge the community not to divulge the date of their meetings so that things go well,” she said.
Matlou-Mteto said that people need to be responsible while drinking alcohol.
“We get people who falsify cases in the festive seasons and we urge people to refrain from doing that,” she said.
