PICS: Minister Cele to deploy SAPS TRT Unit in Westbury to fight gang-related crimes
Youth of #Westbury also submitted solutions to the crime and drug infested community.
Minister of Police, Bheki Cele addressed concerns raised by the #Westbury community. He confirmed that the SAPS TRT Unit jointly with SA Police Service will be deployed in the area to fight crime, especially gang related crimes.
He promises to come back to Westbury next week with other stakeholders to give feedback. Minister Cele met with community leadership of Westbury at a briefing session before moving on to address residents at the Westbury Recreation Centre.
