A big drumroll for Miss Eldos 2018

Miss Eldos 2018 crowning.

The months of dedication and preparation for the Miss Eldos 2018 gala finally paid off as the event was held on June 29 at the Don Mateman Hall in Eldorado Park, Extension Six.

The pageant attracted hundreds of women who were courageous enough to compete. Every aspect of the pageant supports the ideals and attributes of today’s woman – a woman who has her own goals and views of her role within society.

According to Mrs Africa Tourism winner, Diana Robertson-Tsotetsi and Eldos Arts Jazz Festival director, Netesha Armien, this year’s pageant is set on providing mentorship through pageantry.

“The hope for the newly-crowned Miss Eldos is that she will be a symbol of hope to young girls,” said Armien.

The evening started off with Armien welcoming the guests who were treated to a glimpse of the beautiful finalists competing for the honour of being this year’s Miss Eldos in a number of categories. The contestants walked onto the stage wearing matching black outfits.

The evening was jam-packed with live performances that kept guests on their feet. Prizes were handed out before the big moment all of Eldorado Park had been waiting for all evening- the crowning of Miss Eldos 2018.

The Miss Mogul prize went to Kelleigh James who sold five tables at the gala event. Miss Social Media went to Jessica Dibakwane Louw who received the most Facebook votes.

The gorgeous ladies modelled their ‘End Girl Hate’ swimsuits before changing into their beautiful evening dresses.
