Water off in Coronationville for 24 hrs
Coronationville residents woke up to no water this morning.
Yesterday, a media release was sent out stating that Rand Water has completed repairs at their Eikenhof pump station.
According to Cllr Nico de Jager from the Department of Environment and Infrastructure Services, “The Hursthill reservoir supplying the area west of the double-decker highway is the last of the reservoirs to be filled.
“That reservoir is currently at 15% and we will only open the reservoir once at 30%. If we open the reservoir sooner we run the risk of the reservoir running empty again.

Please note most reservoirs have recovered water throughout the night, customers should be having water. However the HurstHill reservoir providing water to Joburg West still has problems.
