To make communicating with residents easy, ward 22 councillor, Lizzy Mabaso has set up an email address.
The councillor says she noticed that some residents find it hard to attend community meetings because of other obligations and an email address where residents can send their enquiries needed to be setup.
She says residents can send her emails at councillor.ward22@gmail.com with all their queries and promises to respond via email to all suggestions and complaints within two days.
“The email address is for residents to communicate with the councillor and ward committee members,” she said.
Mabaso said she would like to thank residents for coming to a meeting she called recently.
“I would like to thank the community for making sure that they participate in matters that affect them,” she said.
She said a representative from City Power were invited to address residents about street lights that hardly ever work.
