Secopa, situated at the Soweto Empowerment Zone in Zone 6, has various learnership opportunities for the community.
Khumo Kgame, the office manager, said that they have learnerships where people are offered theoretical and work experience.
“The people chosen for the learnership attend classes at the empowerment zone and we get them into companies as interns,” he said.
Kgame said that former dedicated, hardworking interns have been offered full-time jobs at their companies.
Kgame said that they are urging the community to submit CVs.
“For people to be part of the opportunities we offer, we urge them to submit their CVs.
“When we get internships that collate with a person’s CV, we contact them he said,” he said.
Kgame said that people who submit CVs don’t need worry about their work experience or education level.
“We take every CV, it doesn’t matter if you don’t have work experience or if you didn’t finish school,” he said.
