Thulsie Twins case is still under investigation

Brandon Lee Thulsie and Tony Lee Thulsie have been kept in custody since their arrests in July.

The twins, who were arrested in July in Newclare on suspicion of plotting to detonate bombs at the US Mission in South Africa and Jewish establishments in the country, say they were wrongly arrested and for that reason, should be granted bail.

According to the regional communications officer for the National Prosecuting Officer Phindi Louw said their case has been postponed again.

“The case will resume on October 3 at the Johannesburg Magistrates Court as announced by the judge.

“Until then further investigations are still underway,” said Louw.

Residents from the community have established a Facebook page name “Free Thulsie Twins”, The name of the group has recently changed to “Fair Trial for Thulsie Twins” in support for the twins surrounding their case.

The twins submitted an affidavit stating that they were arrested unlawfully.
