Westbury Clinic revamp progressing quickly

The clinic is set to be completed in March 2016.

The revamp of the new Westbury Clinic has seen progression quickly over the past few months.

This comprehensive redevelopment will be one of the City’s model clinics, with several features, including 80 consultation rooms, dedicated services such as ante- and pre-natal care, testing and counselling services and health screening.

According to the Community Liaison Officer (CLO) Peter Wagner the building progress has reached its second floor already.

“The new clinic will be helping the people a lot as it will have emergency wards, 24 hour assistance and ambulance available.

“It will be an advantage for many generations to come and as the people have cared for the old clinic, so should it be done for the new one,” said Wagner.

Clinic committee secretary Relda Aronje said people from the area should be hired.

“I am not being biased but as it is in Westbury, the people in the area should be hired for the new clinic.

“People of the community should embrace the idea and become part of its development,” said Aronje.

The clinic is set to be completed in March 2016.
