ABC Bazaar donates winter tracksuits to Everest Primary
Supermarket keeps children warm this winter.
ABC Bazaar, a local supermarket situated in Pollock Avenue, Westbury, has donated winter school tracksuits to learners from Everest Primary School.
The school that is currently under construction has in the past been vandalised on numerous occasions but received a lift when revamping plans were accepted by the Department of Education.
On June 10 the shop gave out tracksuits to the pupils at the school. Last year the Kanjee Family at ABC Bazaar adopted Everest Primary as their focus school and assisted in positive change.
This year they are also working with The Mille’ Group in starting a soccer tournament in the park opposite the shop.
The aim is to attract youngsters with rewards and trophies as an incentive.
“The children were very grateful and this is what we enjoy.
“Making a difference in the lives of the young ones is our aim,” said the Kanjee Family.
