Lameez Patel a licensed Zumba fitness instructor and currently holds classes in Mondeor and Crown Gardens.
Patel has variety of dance tittles she earned during her career.
“Two SA gold medallists in hip hop with honours and
SA silver medallist in freestyle both are internationally recognised,” said Patel.
“I was approached by some ladies residing in Bosmont and Fleurhof to host classes in Bosmont,” Patel.
The demo class this Saturday which will be a hour session will be free and kicks off at 2pm to 3pm.
The classes will be at the Bosmont Recreational Centre.
“The reason for the demo class is to encourage individuals is to adapt a healthy lifestyle whilst having fun and to engage them into eliminating stereotype social issues,” said Patel.
It is then followed by a double dose session a two hour Zumba fitness session.
A single dose is normally charged at R40 and a double dose at R 80.
“But for this Saturday only in Bosmont the double dose session would cost R 50.
“It is all about individuals wanting to live a Healthy Lifestyle, and staying in shape and fit,” said Patel.
Zumba Fitness offers a vast amount of genres ranging from Cha cha cha, flamenco, samba, belly dance and African beats.
