Pre-schoolers graduate

Riverlea Primary School held their annual graduation of Grade R pupils.

This past Saturday was the graduation of Grade Rs at Riverlea Primary School.

There were three classes that graduated with 90 graduates.

Entertainment was provided by the preschoolers with songs they have learnt for their graduation.

Marcel Elephant the principal of the school said, “This is a very proud moment as a principal to see these children achieve what they done throughout the year.”

The guest speaker was Marenda Petersen who spoke about how to not give up on your dreams and how parents play a vital role in the development of the children.

“Be grown enough to know that you made a mistake,” said Petersen.

Preschoolers was the centre of the whole programme with dances and singing that were performed.

Awards were handed out to all graduates and are on their way to start in ‘Big School’ which will be Grade One next year.
