A festival of dance and drill, from the rhythmic clicking of boots as majorettes strut in military precision, will be hosted by Bernard Isaacs Primary School Majorettes.
The showcase will be at Church of Johannesburg – Harvestime in Claremont.
The event will be on October 26 and starts at 6pm for 6.30pm.
Refreshments will be sold.
Life Time Achievement Awards will be awarded to the pioneers of majorettes in our community, recipients from, Newclare Primary School and EW Hobbs Primary School the Majorette
Coaches and teachers and Florrie Daniels from Westbury Majorettes and Girls Brigade.
They are calling all women who have marched in the above teams over the past years to attend the event, to witness this honour being bestowed upon their respective coaches and teachers.
