Police launch manhunt for murder suspect alleged to have shot a 37 year old woman
The murder in question occurred on Sunday, November 18, 2018, in Belhambra Street in Protea Glen Extension 13.
Police have launched a manhunt for a suspect who was allegedly involved in a murder last November. The man, known as Mashakeni Masingita (23), is from Protea Glen extension 13.

The suspect is alleged to have shot a 37 year old woman through a bedroom window, the woman died on the scene.
The suspect was then arrested for murder and appeared in Protea Magistrates Court where he was granted bail. The suspect was ordered to appear back in court on March 19 this year but failed to make his appearance.

This led to a warrant for his arrest being issued on the same day, the suspect could not be located at his known address and is currently on the run. An investigation is currently underway to determine his location.
Police believe the suspect is currently in Namitwa Village in Limpopo according to police spokersperson Sergeant Vincent Mashiteng.
The police are appealing to the public to assist the police with information about the whereabouts of the suspect.
