Thibonoka has just dropped a track called ‘Funi Nix’

Thibonoka's Funi Nix is a treat for music lovers.

Thabo Khumalo who is widely known as Thibonoka has just dropped a hot track called Funi Nix and its eclectic sound is set to make every music lover dance and feel the sensation music leaves after wiping away the pain.

Thibonoka is Diepkloof’s very own recording artist and poet who began his budding career in music back in high school with his friends when they formed a young group called Tse Kedi Nthsa, in 2002 and they performed in local hip hop sessions like the Black Sunday and Slaghuis.

Tse Kedi Ntsha briefly stood the test of time as a group, they also went further to perform in 2006 at the Yfm competition held by Rude boy Paul where they got 3rd prize.

Thibonoka spoke about how he later ventured on a solo career where he performed in community events like the event at the Dorothy Nyembe Park for children which was hosted by Jozi FM.

Thibonoka said, “I also performed on the same year at Baseline in a show which was hosted by Soweto TV. In 2013, I performed for Mr. Raymond Ackerman who founded Pick and Pay at the University of Johannesburg for his Raymond Ackerman academy event.”

The smart and multi-talented Thibonoka wrote a book in 2015 which he published under his company, Benz and Biscuit Entertainment.

The book is called, Dear my book of Rhymes, which is poetry about life in the hood and Thibonoka’s personal experiences.

Thibonoka returns with his new single called Funi Nix featuring La-Mimeigh, released under his own entertainment company Benz and Biscuit Entertainment where he worked with Katlego Segone aka Kotsi Boy, whom he signed under his stable.

The new single captures the nostalgic passion of Brenda Fassie and the mesmerizing sound of the song is mesmerizing.

Thibonoka said, “Although I do hip hop, my music has the influence of kwaito and skhanda.”
